I started to work in the US from 1991. It was the East-West JV (San Francisco) as principal researcher, Startup company ECOSO, Adobe, Novel in Santa Cruz. I moved to Washington State in 1995 getting job in Microsoft, where I worked 10 years, and after that I opened my companies and worked as self-employer.
My Sailing Career Highlights
- 40+ years as Master or Mate on own, private, chartering sailboats
- Eleven years in wooden boat restoration, rigging and sail making, fine carpentry electrical, plumbing, engine repair, hull building, in sea and on land repairs
- Founded and managed the Sailing Sport Club at University
- Eight years instructor in sail
- Six years trained racing crews for national and international races
- Trained crews for navigation in difficult weather conditions, surviving while a hull breaches, mast loss, rudder breakage, etc.
- From time to time, routes of long races and sailing expeditions were organized and developed;
- Created compact lidar for monitoring pollution on surface of water (lakes and oceans)
- Inspection of various types of sailboats (wooden, fiberglass, aluminum, fibrocement, ferro cement)

Managerial experience
In my old life, I was a Chief Scientist in Institute of Applied Physics and head of the lab, coordinating many projects in several labs of the USSR.

I am currently enrolled in the Marine Learning Center for get USCG certificate of Captain to 100 tons.
Also, I am enrolling in the Seattle Sailing School for obtain the license of Sailing instructor for ASA.
