21.09.2025 - 10.10.2025
For those who love beauty and adventure, climbing Mera Peak is a great way to enjoy the majesty of the mountains and experience incredible emotions. The highest trekking peak in Nepal is the perfect place for trekkers seeking new experiences and unforgettable memories.

There are two summits of Mera – the Central (6461 m) and the Northern Mera (6476 m). We offer an ascent to the Central Peak of Mera. Although the Northern summit is easier and more gradual, it poses a significant avalanche risk. Mera is the central peak of the glacier with a 60-degree slope. In clear weather, the summit of Mera Peak offers breathtaking views of five 8000-meter giants: Everest (8848 m), Cho Oyu (8201 m), Lhotse (8516 m), and Makalu (8463 m). Far to the east, you can spot Kanchenjunga (8586 m) – a truly awe-inspiring sight!

As it should be, we have carefully planned the expedition. The itinerary includes time for rest and flexibility to wait out bad weather. With us, the ascent will go smoothly and effortlessly.
Climb Mera Peak with our team and gain a wealth of unforgettable experiences. The highest trekking peak and the stunning landscapes throughout the entire expedition will leave no one indifferent.

Challenge yourself with an ascent of the highest trekking peak in Nepal. Stay in vibrant Kathmandu, one of the world's capitals of tourism. Visit ancient temples of two world religions. Land at the amazing Lukla Airport, named after the first Everest summiteers.
Enjoy views of the tallest mountains on the planet and the cozy charm of Nepalese mountain lodges. Take a breathtaking trek through the Hinku Valley, crossing the Zatrwa La Pass. Ascend the majestic Mera Peak massif. From the Mera Glacier, capture a photo of a unique panorama featuring five 8000-meter giants: Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga.

The mountains of Nepal attract mountain lovers and climbers from all over the world with their beauty and inaccessibility. Each year, more and more people dream of reaching the Himalayan peaks. And it's not just experienced mountaineers who can challenge themselves with an ascent of Mera Peak — beginners can also take part, accompanied by seasoned expedition leaders and local Sherpa guides.

Despite its height of 6470 meters, the ascent to the summit is not technically too difficult and requires only endurance, determination, and basic mountaineering skills from climbers. The first ascent was made by Sen Tenzing and Jimmy Roberts back in 1953. However, athletes and subsequent climbers were only able to conquer the southern and northern slopes of Mera Peak. The challenging central summit was not successfully climbed until 2001.

The route with well-thought-out acclimatization will allow our climbers to repeat the results of these mountaineers. Any physically healthy person accustomed to an active lifestyle will be able to overcome the trekking route laid out among picturesque forests and rhododendron thickets.

Our expedition to Tibet is not only the quintessence of Tibetan values, its main goal is the search for oneself, and we choose the words of the Dalai Lama as its motto: “I have this precious life, and I will not waste it.”

ITINERARY
Day 1
21.09.2025
Arrival in Kathmandu, the colorful capital of Himalayan tourism. Transfer to hotel, accommodation. Walk around the bright, cosmopolitan, Indian-style noisy and charmingly untidy city. This day you can walk to the market to buy the missing equipment.
There is a huge selection to suit every taste and purse - you can even fully outfit yourself by arriving in shorts and slippers. Overnight in a cozy hotel. (meals on your own)

Day 2
22.09.2025
Today's excursions are the gentleman's kit of every “Nepali” and no program is without them.

We will climb the 365 steps of the oldest stupa in Nepal Soimbu (Swayambu) - monkey temple - the birthplace of Kathmandu and the home of dozens of small monasteries. We will visit one of the holiest for all Hindus the main ritual crematorium of Nepal Pashupati temple, where, according to legends, the head of Shiva is located. We will also visit “little Tibet”, the area of the largest and most revered Buddhist stupa Buddhanath.

After lunch we have a trip to the mountaineering stores to buy the missing accessories. Although you can buy everything for the mountains in Kathmandu, you should not postpone buying the whole list for this day, it is better to do it at home, otherwise there is simply not enough time. And good quality gear costs the same everywhere. (Breakfast included)

Day 3
23.09.2025
Kathmandu-Lukla flight will be a beautiful picture of mountains in flight and a kind of attraction when you land. The runway of Tenzing-Hillary airport is unique and has a slope of 12% On the shortest way to Hinku valley, we will pass a pass of 4600 meters above sea level. For this reason, time is set aside in the program for proper acclimatization to the altitude and on this day we stay in Lukla (2800 m above sea level). This precaution will help you reach the summit in good health and good spirits. Overnight at the gest house. (Breakfast included).

Day 4
24.09.2025
After a night in Lukla, the expedition will continue with a short trek to Chutanga. Located at an altitude of 3,450 meters, the protected areas are covered with rhododendron, coniferous trees and other vegetation. Climbing to the first altitude, you will have time not only to fully enjoy this beauty but also to take photos of the landscape. Overnight at the gest house.

Day 5
25.09.2025
Acclimatization day in Chutanga at an altitude of 3450 m. For successful overcoming of Zartva La pass and subsequent overnight stay at 4200, we need to prolong acclimatization, which we will do today. Our task for today is to climb 300-400 meters higher and descend to the camp. We will spend the night in the same guesthouse.

Day 6
26.09.2025
Crossing Zartva La pass 4600 m. Today the first challenge awaits us - Zartva La pass (labor-intensive crossing will take about 7-8 hours).

A narrow trail leads up to the crest, which in good weather offers a picturesque view of the Hinku valley. At the pass, the group is greeted by hundreds of Lung Ta prayer flags. Waving affably in the wind, they deliver mantras and prayers for health to the deities. After enjoying the scenery of the Himalayas, we traverse the slope and arrive at the pass. After descending a little downhill, we will stop for overnight stay. Overnight at Tuli Kharka Guesthouse.

Day 7
27.09.2025
Descent to the valley of Hinku - Gote 3600m. Today the whole day will be spent in a beautiful mountain forest. The vegetation is varied from bamboo to conifers and rhododendrons. After yesterday's difficult ascent to Zartwa La, the expedition descends steeply into the Hinku valley. After 6-7 hours of trekking we come to the picturesque mountain village of Gote. Here you can have a rest from the altitude at 3600 m, which is already familiar to your organism, and gain strength for the next ascent during the night. Sleep and appetite after overnight stay at 4200m should be excellent. Overnight in a guest house.

Day 8
28.09.2025
Passage to Tagnag 4350 m. The ascent to the height of 4350 m to Tagnag is relatively easy. The trail goes smoothly upwards almost without descents, the way takes about 5 hours. We gradually go out of the forest zone into shrub high altitude “tundra” and alpine meadows. In good weather, snow peaks can be seen all around.
A visit to a small Buddhist monastery on our way will diversify this task. Here you can not only replenish your photo archive, but also ask the local deities for good luck. Their favor will not at all prevent climbers in a few days when climbing Mera Peak. Overnight at the gest house.

Day 9
29.09.2025
Acclimatization day at Tagnag 4350m.

We will wander around the village, climb the nearest hill, gaining 400 meters of height and admire the beauty of the autumn highlands. We can go to the beautiful Sabai Tso Lake.
Over a cup of tea locals can tell us about the destructive power of the elements. How on a September morning in 1998 a mudflow almost wiped out a village. A night in a gest house.

Day 10
30.09.2025
Transition to Hare at 5000m. The short crossing again passes by the majestic Sabai Tso Lake. After the lake we start climbing to Khara along a narrow valley, where for the first time we will have views of the pass and Mera peak itself. The trek is not long, we need to gain 600+ meters of altitude within 4 hours.
In spite of 5000 meters, Khare is very cozy and relatively warm for such altitude village, where we will spend a couple of nights for acclimatization. Overnight in a gest house.

Day 11
01.10.2025
Acclimatization day in Khara. The altitude is almost 5000 m. Again today's day will be devoted to acclimatization and walks in picturesque surroundings. Overnight in a guest house.

Day 12
02.10.2025
Ascent to the camp on Mera La 5415 m. We ascend to the first high-altitude tent camp on Mera La, trekking up to 3 hours. The camp is located just below the glacier (on the rocks).

In the camp we will enjoy a delicious camping dinner (here, unlike on the trek, we are fed by our escort team). The crossing is short, the altitude gain is 400 m. It promotes further acclimatization. Overnight in tents. (Meals: dinner included)

Day 13
03.10.2025
Climbing to Mera Peak 5800 m high camp. We continue our way to the summit. Moving in bundles, the expedition should overcome the pass and climb to the high camp (about 4 hours). After dinner and a short sleep we have a hard day ahead of us, we have to climb to the summit.
After preparing the gear - dinner and rest before climbing. Overnight in tents. (Meals: breakfast, snack, dinner)

Day 14
04.10.2025
Ascent to Mera Peak and descent to Khara. Early rise at 2 o'clock, after breakfast we set out on the route at 3 am. We gather all our will in a fist and climb up to the goal in a measured way.

There are magnificent views around even in darkness with stars and moon. At the summit in good weather you can see 5 8,000 meters. Yes, that's Everest (8848m), Cho-oyu (8201m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8463m). Kanchenjunga (8586m) can be seen far to the east.

Half an hour on the top! Photo session against the background of Himalayan giants. Then we will descend to the high camp, have a short rest, pack up and then go to Khare via Mera La pass (we will be on the move for 12-14 hours in total this day).

We don't think there will be much energy left for celebrating in the evening, but we will drink 50 grams for the victory) Overnight in a gest house.

Day 15
05.10.2025
Reserve day in case of bad weather.
(Meals: breakfast, snack for lunch, dinner)

Day 16
