DESCRIPTION

Go celebrate the New Year 2024 in the dream city - Rio de Janeiro! Soak up the best beaches: Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon; swim in the Atlantic Ocean among the turtles; climb the beautiful "Sugarloaf", the rock "Two Brothers" and the mountain "Corcovado" to the statue of Christ the Redeemer! Go to the real Amazon jungle, catch piranhas there, cuddle a sloth, swim with pink dolphins, just listen to the voice of the forest and dance the ant dance with the Indians. Swim under the Iguazu Falls, the most beautiful waterfall on our planet, and enjoy its 275 cascades!

To visit the City of God  Rio de Janeiro  is a dream that can be realized with us! New Year in Brazil is the famous beaches of Copacabana! Incredible fireworks! Rhythmic dances to tam tama on a white sandy beach. To see these things is just a dream! Many Brazilians in white celebrate the New Year by swimming right in the warm Atlantic Ocean!

An incredible atmosphere reigns on the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, a mixture of peoples and cultures of noisy and colorful Rio! Moreover, what are the beautiful views of Rio from Sugar Loaf Mountain! And the view from the 700-meter Corcovado mountain, on which stands the famous Statue of Christ the Redeemer, one of the seven Wonders of the World, where we will definitely visit! However, all the creations of human hands will fade when you see the queen of the rivers - the Amazon and the Iguazu Falls.

6-10.jpg

For a couple of days we will feel like pioneers in the tropical jungle, like a group of Francisco Orellana, who was the first to sail through the great Amazon! We will try to catch caimans and piranhas. There, in these green lungs of the planet, we will inhale the viscous, like coffee, fragrant air of the selva, forgetting about civilization for a while. But most importantly, it is here that we will feel the unique taste of adventure, try to cuddle a sloth, dance with the Indians and swim with pink river dolphins! After the Amazon, we will fly to the greatest Iguazu Falls!

In 1541, the conquistador don Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca went to the jungle in search of gold, and discovered the famous 275 waterfalls on the Iguazu River! We will be there in the season when the Iguazu and Parana rivers are full and therefore individual waterfalls will merge into a turbulent stream. Their total width is more than 3 km, and their height is 80 m, which makes the Iguazu Falls wider than the Victoria Falls, and higher than the Niagara Falls! We will say more, Iguazu Falls are the only ones that fell into the 7 natural Wonders of the World! We will admire the waterfalls from the Brazilian side, and if we are lucky, we will look into the Throat to the Devil.

And we will finish our hot adventures again in Rio de Janeiro - a sleepless city of contrasts, bright colors, incendiary dances and loud laughter.

Day 2
31.12.2023

Oh, Rio, Rio, the city is a song; the city is a dream! Today we are waiting for a sightseeing tour of the center of Rio, a walk along the brightest staircase of Rio, Selaron, which is lined with tiles collected from all over the world. Nearby are the famous Carioca aqueduct, built in the 18th century to supply the central part of the city with water. We will also visit the Cathedral of St. Sebastian, made in the style of the Indian pyramids.

We will walk around the center, drink coffee in the century old Colombo coffee house, look into the amazing library of the Portuguese kings.

We will also see the largest graffiti in the world, for 2016, included in the Guinness Book of Records!

After lunch, we will be able to take the funicular to the Sugar Loaf Mountain, return to the hotel, rest, prepare for the departure to Copacabana and welcome the New Year!

At 22:00 departure to Copacabana to celebrate the New Year! We take drinks with us, a small amount of money, bedding and swimming trunks.

We look at the rituals and dances in honor of the goddess Iemaya - the "mother of fish"! We know the secluded place where this sacrament is performed. This is a real ritual with worship, bringing offerings and gifts to the ocean to the goddess. We welcome the New Year! Admire the incredible fireworks on the entire coast of Copacabana! Victory to all, the world of success and kindness!

Free time until 1:30 a.m. we all get together and go in an organized manner to the transfer! Rest in the hotel

(meals: breakfast included).

We will go to Corcovado with comfort, by bus, and then - by funicular through the famous forest of Tijuca. We will gather at the top at the 38-meter statue of Christ the Redeemer - the Seventh Wonder of the World! And from Corcovado we will admire the stunning panorama of Rio and the most famous view of the Sugarloaf.

Additionally not included in the program, it will be possible to make a trip to the Itaipu platinum. Itaipu is the largest hydroelectric power plant in the world in terms of electricity generation per year. This $15 billion engineering marvel sits on the Parana River on the border of Brazil and Paraguay.

In fact, disputes still do not subside over which hydroelectric power station is really the largest in the world. In December 1997, the Itaipu hydroelectric power plant lost first place to the Chinese Three Gorges hydroelectric power plant. Or we can go for a walk in Paraguay.

(meals: breakfast included if we do not have a night flight).

Day 5
03.01.2024

Today we will have an exciting journey through the Brazilian jungle with gorgeous views of the Iguazu Falls. After all, if you ask in Brazil what nature has created the most beautiful, many people will answer: Women and Iguazu Falls! And they will be right.

55555.jpg

The panorama will be incomparable, because these are the most grandiose waterfalls on Earth! It is hard to imagine that the river forms a giant water arc 2.7 kilometers wide.

Botanist Robert Shoda described this majestic spectacle as follows: When you stand at the foot of a waterfall and see that at a height of 82 meters water jets block the entire horizon from you, you experience fear. Before your eyes, the ocean is falling into the abyss! This impressive curtain of water is formed by 275 waterfalls, united by Indians - Guarani under the common name Iguazu - "Big Water". We will admire the waterfalls of Adam and Eve, Rivadavia, the Three Musketeers and the most grandiose of them - the Devil's Throat!

After the waterfalls, we will go to the famous bird park (Parque das Aves). This is a real "bird kingdom": parrots, toucans, flamingos, hummingbirds, crowned cranes, ostriches - just behind the fence on the lawns and trees.

After the waterfalls, we will go to the famous bird park (Parque das Aves). This is a real "bird kingdom": parrots, toucans, flamingos, hummingbirds, crowned cranes, ostriches - just behind the fence on the lawns and trees.

Full delight is guaranteed! And although the macaws here are not tame, they will still let you be in at arm's length.

And sometimes you can cuddle and stroke toucans. Return to the hotel, rest (meals: breakfast included).

Day 6
04.01.2024

On this day, we will make a full day trip to Argentina, to the Iguazu Falls! We will start with the Devil's Throat - the most powerful and farthest complex of waterfalls. Then we will look at the waterfalls from the bottom point. Then we return to the fork and go to watch the waterfalls from there. There are three main routes, all of which we will try to pass.

The main difference between the Argentine side and the Brazilian side is that you can see the waterfalls up close from the Argentine side. And from the Brazilian side it is good to view the whole panorama of the waterfalls. The main difference between the Argentine side and the Brazilian side is that you can see the waterfalls up close from the Argentine side. Return to the hotel, free time, rest. (meals: breakfast included)

Day 7
05.01.2024

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport and flight to Manaus. Today we have a check-in at the hotel, and if we arrive not late, we will take a walk around the largest city in the Amazon. First, the Portuguese built the fort of São Jose do Rio Negro here at the confluence of the Amazon and Rio Negro, where the width of the river reaches several tens of kilometers. For more than 100 years in these places, a small fortification was the only island of civilization. But a miracle happened, and a real city of millions grew up around the fort.

This story is connected with the Hevea tree, the main natural rubber tree. A sticky blackish substance called rubber has been familiar to Europeans since the time of Christopher Columbus. The Spanish conquistadors had already seen Indian children playing with rubber balls. However, after Goodyear invented vulcanization in 1840, a real hunt began for rubber. Crowds of adventurers rushed to the tiny village of Manaus.

The "rubber barons" began to dream of transforming Manaus into a European city. Money flowed like a river, and the city was actively built up. In 1896, the Amazonas Opera House was opened, on the stage of which many world stars aspired to enter. The walls of the theater remember the voice of Enrique Caruso and the divine art of Anna Pavlova's dance.

The fairy tale ended when, contrary to the ban, the Englishman Wickham secretly exported Hevea seeds to Southeast Asia. Very soon, Heveas in Colombo and Singapore began to produce rubber 4 times more than their Amazonian ancestors did, while it cost 3 times cheaper. This caused enormous damage to the entire region. The stagnation that occurred in the Manaus economy turned South American Paris into a "dead city".

Here you will have free time. Return to the hotel, rest. (meals: breakfast

Day 8
06.01.2024

Breakfast, transfer, to the selva! Our Amazon adventures begin! We will go to the Maruga waterfall hidden by a green carpet from prying eyes. Then we will climb further into the selva to study plants and fauna. We will dig in a small river and under waterfalls.

We will try to find monkeys, and if we are lucky, we will meet mammals such as a sloth or an armadillo. Perhaps the locals will help us find them. Of course, real sloths are the most likely to cuddle, because they are the slowest of all mammals on the planet.

The maximum speed of their movement is just over 1.6 km / h, but, as a rule, the sloth crawls no faster than two meters per minute. Therefore, locals often catch them and then keep them at home. Naturally, we will try to track down as many animals and birds as possible; therefore, we need to be quiet. Then we will have lunch at the rapids of Urubui. After which we will visit and swim at the waterfalls in Iracema and Arara.

In the evening, we return to Manaus. (meals: breakfast and lunch included).

Day 9
07.01.2024

Breakfast, transfer to the port and loading onto a speedboat. First, we will come to the confluence of two rivers - Rio Negro and Salimois. These rivers have water of different colors and for a very long time it does not mix. Then drive to Januari Park, where we will see a giant water lily Victoria regia. This is the largest water lily on the planet. Its diameter can reach 2 meters and the water lily itself is able to withstand the weight of a child.

Then the Tucanos will show us their handicrafts and souvenirs that you can buy. Maybe we will have a football game with the Indians! Everything will depend on the weather and what other village we will visit!

Well, after a visit to the Indians, we will have another swim with pink dolphins - they are the largest freshwater dolphins on Earth! Although the dolphin weighs no more than 200 kg, it has excellent maneuverability; it can swim at a speed of 22 km per hour! In muddy water, the dolphin is easily oriented with the help of echolocation, as well as excellent hearing and touch.

It feeds on fish and crustaceans, and it is necessary to catch and eat 10-12 kg per day for an adult. We will be able to watch them feeding in the water and touch these wonderful animals!

After swimming, we will have a boat trip and fishing for the “toothy demon” - piranha! That is how the name of this merciless killer fish is translated from the language of the Guarani Indians!

 (meals: breakfast included).

Day 11
09.01.2024

In the morning, if the weather is good and it is calm in the Vijigal favela, we will make a trek to Mount Two Brothers, from which a gorgeous panorama of the beaches of Rio opens.

Afterwards we will go down to Leblon beach, where we will wash away fatigue in the waves of the Atlantic.

At lunch, divided into two groups, we will make an unforgettable outing to a real favela (if there is a calm environment) This is a real city of God, cocaine, armed teenagers and crime. Photographing people is prohibited. But you can dance or learn to play the drums. There in the favela where Michael Jackson made a video in the Santa Teresa favela for the song They Don't Care About Us
